Clare Verrall, who shot to fame in the 2016 season of Married At First Sight, debuted a sizable new tattoo on her forearm at last night’s Fashion Aid 2018 Launch Party in Melbourne.
Wearing a turquoise long-sleeved mesh dress, the reality TV star pulled up her sleeves to show off her elephant tattoo.
The star also took the red carpet opportunity to show off her svelte new figure after losing an incredible 43 kilograms this year.
Clare explained to New Idea that after seeing Jono (her MAFS husband) react negatively to her weight, Verrall decided to go on a health kick.
The MAFS star has since shared her battle with mental illness following the series, and how she turned it all around with the help of her parents.
Clare shared with New Idea, “I still have a curvy body with rolls, wrinkles and cellulite, but I have totally accepted this and no longer need validation from others. I’m larger now than when I was on the show, but I am more confident than ever.”
