She was known as ‘the youngest one in curls’ on classic sitcom The Brady Bunch. And while she might have been famous as the cutest of the bunch, it seems that former actress Susan Olsen has grown up to be a pretty special woman as well.
Speaking to fans in the wake of the death last week of her TV mother, Florence Henderson, Susan shared some touching words about the great lady – as well as some insight and empathy for all the fans who are now hurting.
‘I realize today that many of you are grieving our favorite TV Mom,’ she wrote on her Facebook page. ‘My experience contains the joy of having known her and loving her and having her love me as a coworker and a mother figure.
‘But a lot of you are grieving the mother you always longed for. You have MY condolences. I’m sorry you didn’t get to know Florence – she was wonderful. But you will always have Carol Brady, she’s wonderful too!’
