TV favourite Chris Bath has a brand new role – announcing she will be making the move to radio.
Chris will be hosting ABC 702’s Evenings program next year. The show, which will be broadcast throughout NSW and the ATC, will be a return to her roots for the former television anchor, who started her journalistic career at 2UE.
After leaving TV last year, Chris said, ‘This has been a very big decision.
‘I’m very grateful for the past wonderful 20 years.
‘Sometimes you’ve got to take a calculated risk, sometimes you’ve got to back yourself and sometimes you know you just have to go for it and I just figure it’s time for me to walk my talk.
‘I’ve been overwhelmed. Honestly, I’m stunned that people even care, I’ve just had so many wonderful messages from people.’
