It’s been one of the most secretive celebrity pregnancies, but One Direction’s Liam Payne and British star Cheryl have announced the birth of their first child, a baby boy.
And it would seem as well as keeping the pregnancy secret for months – Cheryl kept the mystery going by not announcing their new arrival until three days after the birth.
Taking to Instagram, 33-year-old Cheryl shared an adorable picture of Liam cradling their newborn – their first child together – along with the caption:
‘On Wednesday 22nd March Liam and I became parents to an incredibly beautiful, healthy baby boy, weighing 7lb 9 and looking like a dream.
‘Although he still doesn’t have a name he is already stealing hearts. We are all madly in love and overwhelmingly happy with our little arrival.
‘Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers around the world. A day that now has a different meaning to me forever.’
