Smiling coyly and batting her eyelashes while she places a flirtatious hand on the man’s arm, she plants a lingering kiss on his cheek. It was a different Charlene, Princess of Monaco on display at the Monte Carlo Fashion Week recently.
In the years following her wedding to Prince Albert in 2011 – and those infamously awkward official snaps – the royal mum was rarely seen being affectionate and animated. Yet recently, the 38-year-old seemed happier than ever – and it’s all thanks to a man who’s not her husband!
The princess glowed from the attention of designer Philipp Plein, 38 – a stark contrast to her stiff, icy demeanour around her husband Prince Albert, says renowned body language expert Dr Lillian Glass.
‘She’s never been seen like that with her husband. Even in their wedding photos, she looks so unhappy,’ Lillian explains to New Idea.
‘In the pictures with the fashion designer, you can see she’s looking right at him. She even has a slight smile.
