Channel 7 has announced a new comedy series just in time for the winter months!
Fam Time, starring Michala Banas, Benson Jack Anthony and Duncan Fellows, follows Australia’s most “postmodern family” who struggle to juggle their online personas with their real lives in the quiet suburbs.
Belinda Box – played by Banas – is an aspiring blogger and busy mum heading up a blended household, with the help of husband John – played by Fellows – who prefers “tinkering to Tweeting”.
Anthony plays their reclusive son Rylan who spends most of his time looking for love online.
Seven’s Director of Network Programming Angus Ross said: “Fam Time is a fresh comedy format celebrating and skewering the family idiosyncrasies we all love to hate.
‘It’s contemporary delivery, pace and irreverent humour will be a hit with out audience.”
Former Home and Away star Karina Banno and Tidelands’ actress Chloe De Los Santos also star in the upcoming Seven programme.
