Matty J hinted over the weekend that he may have found ‘the one’ following filming The Bachelor Australia over the past few months.
And it looks like fans won’t have to wait long to find out who the lucky lady is, as a start date for the hit reality show has been announced.
The premiere episode is set to air on channel 10 on Wednesday July 26th.
Sharing a picture of Matty confirming the news on Instagram, the network announced: ‘Let the fireworks begin’.
Matty also confirmed the news on his own Instagram account, sharing a picture of himself from the day he found out he was set to be the next Bachelor.
‘This photo was taken just moments after I received a phone call, which confirmed I would be the next Bachelor,’ he wrote in the caption.
‘I have the same feeling now knowing my story will begin on Channel 10, Wednesday July 26… just a little excited!’
