Celine Dion had the crowd in tears as she belted out the Titanic theme song ‘My Heart Will Go On’ two decades after the song came out.
The singer stunned in a white gown with exaggerated sleeves while scenes from the Oscar-winning film played in the background.
The 49-year-old received a standing ovation for her power ballad, with host Vanessa Hudgens tearing up after the performance.
Dion told Billboard she was ‘honoured’ to perform the song.
‘It’s still number one! To be honest with you, it’s an honor,’ she said. ‘My husband always told me that I wanted to have a career as long as I sing my whole life. Twenty years later, I’m at the Billboard Awards and I was here last year singing ‘The Show Must Go On,’ receiving the Icon award — my son gave it to me, and it was pretty emotional. To be here [in T-Mobile Arena], it’s still emotional, because I can still feel and see what happened last year.’
