Brady Bunch cast members post heartwarming tributes to Florence Henderson

Twitter flooded with messages for the iconic TV mum

Celebrities and former cast members have taken to Twitter to express their condolences following the sad passing of The Brady Bunch star, Florence Henderson.

Leading the tributes for the legendary actress – who died from heart failure yesterday at the age of 82 – was Maureen McCormick, who played the role of Marcia Brady on the show, who posted a heartfelt message along with a picture of the two stars together.

Barry Williams, who played Greg on the show, tweeted that he was ‘deeply saddened’ by the news of her death.

And actor Christopher Knight, who played Peter, also payed tribute, Knight calling Florence a ‘dear friend,’ adding, ‘Privileged to have known her and the kindness of her heart’.

Other celebrities including Boy George, Debra Messing, Patricia Arquette and Larry King also posted their own messages of condolence.
