Carrie Fisher’s heartbroken 24-year-old daughter has finally broken her silence, sharing what it feels like to lose both her mother and grandmother, Debbie Reynolds, within a day of each other.
‘Receiving all of your prayers and kind words over the past week has given me strength during a time I thought strength could not exist,’ Billie wrote on Instagram. The Scream Queens actress shared a stunning never before seen photograph of herself as a young child, pulling a cheeky face as her mum and grandma hold her close.
Billie also revealed her touching nicknames for the Carrie and Debbie – who died on December 27 and 28, respectively – saying: ‘There are no words to express how much I will miss my Abadaba and my one and only Momby. Your love and support means the world to me.’
Star Wars actress Carrie passed away after suffering a massive heart attack, and her Singin’ In The Rain icon mother Debbie suffered a fatal stroke the next day, reportedly while planning her daughter’s funeral.
