Carrie Fisher’s dying wish revealed

Carrie Fisher joked before her death that she wanted Harrison Ford to sing at her Oscars In Memoriam tribute.

The Star Wars legend passed away last month and the age of 60 after suffering a heart attack a few days earlier onboard a flight bound for Los Angeles.

In a recently unearthed with the Rebel Force Radio podcast, she joked that she wanted her Star Wars co-star and ‘former lover’ Harrison to sing in her ‘death reel.

‘I asked him [at a party] if he would be in my death reel, and if he would sing. It’s just something I want. He’s going to sing Melancholy Wookiee,’ she joked.

‘I figured they’ll bring out, depending on when it happens, there’s a lot of people they can bring out.’

When asked if she had ever heard her Star Wars co-star and former lover sing she laughed: ‘No, and I don’t think we’re missing much.’

The news comes the same day that Carrie’s brother, Todd Fisher announced that a public memorial service would be held on March 25th for Carrie and her mother Debbie Reynolds, who tragically died just one day later haffing suffered a stroke.

‘We will be celebrating their lives with friends, family members, and the people who loved them, you’ he said in a simple statement.

‘The service will begin at 1:00 PM and immediately afterwards, those who want to walk to their final resting place are welcome to do so,’ he added.
