Following on from her terrifying onboard heart attach during a flight from London to LA, Carrie Fisher’s Star Wars co-star, Harrison Ford has issued a public statement on her health.
‘I’m shocked and saddened to hear the news about my dear friend,’ Ford said in the statement.
‘Our thoughts are with Carrie, her family and friends.’
The statement comes as Carrie’s therapy dog – a French bulldog named Gary ‘tweeted’ a heartbreaking message to his ‘mummy’.
‘I’ll be waiting right here mommy,’ the message to his 15,000 followers read, alongside a picture of the small dog looking forlornly out of a window.
Gary has become a fan favourite after appearing alongside Carrie in all of her interviews in 2015 to promote Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
