Carrie Bickmore always looks flawless on The Project but she has just showed Australia a different side of herself.
During a segment on The Project, Carrie showed the entire country her own prom photos. With braces, frizzy hair, and elbow-length gloves, she looked completely unrecognisable in the pics.
Carrie explained how her mum had given her the prom pics over the weekend.
‘She brought my prom photos, my ball photos, and they are just quite shocking,’ Bickmore laughed. ‘But they reminded me I remember going to this prom with this guy, and I so thought I was gonna score. I thought I was getting a pash by the end of that.’
As the photos flashed on the screen, her co-host Peter Helliar jokingly asked if she was the one on the right.
‘I was so in love with James,’ she continued. But it was clear from the beginning of the night she wasn’t going to get lucky with James.
‘Do you know when he rocked up he said to me — this is how much I was never gonna score — ‘I think my grandma’s couch is made out of that material’.’
It’s okay Carrie, everyone has their embarrassing moments as a teenager.
