They are the perky presenters on one of Network Ten’s biggest shows – yet it’s hardly a love fest over at The Project.
Host Carrie Bickmore was seen snapping at her co-host Waleed Aly last night.
The golden girl told Waleed she believed he was ‘wanting to pick a fight’.
Speaking on a segment about drones, guest host Fifi Box began the discussion with ‘That is not fair on people walking the streets below. What if a propeller falls on me as I am walking along the street?’
Waleed responded, ‘I am more worried about the poor person in the drone’ before Carrie said ‘The propeller could have chopped her head off!’
The tension lingered as a clip from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! showed footy player Dane Swan wondering out loud about the number of footballs it would take to allow him to float.
Waleed said, ‘Wouldn’t they get waterlogged and then you would sink?’
It prompted Carrie to blast him with, ‘Waleed! Stop! You want to pick a fight! Don’t worry about the propellers or the water-logging!
‘Let’s talk about something else,’ she said before the show continued on.
