Now, a podcast has been released called ‘Missing Richard Simmons, created by Dan Taberski, a friend of Richard, chronicling Richard’s disappearance in the hopes it will shed some light on why he’s vanished.

In the most recent podcast episode, Dan speaks to Richard’s brother, Lenny Simmons and as it turns out, he’s just as mystified by his brother’s disappearance.

‘He’s not angry with anybody. I don’t understand it. I wish I did.’ Lenny explained.

The podcast also includes interviews with those who knew Simmons before he disappeared.

Last year, Richard denied reports that he was a victim of elder abuse at the hands of his housekeeper, Teresa Reveles, telling Entertainment Tonight, ‘I am not kidnapped.’

Previously, the National Enquirer found in 2015 that the 68-year-old was reclusive, ‘frail, week and spiritually broken,’ and ‘in desperate need of help,’ his ex-personal assistant Mauro Oliveira said. The year before that, the fitness trailblazer had stopped returning phone calls and closed his famed Beverly Hills fitness studio.
