Bride and Prejudice star Courtney has been hit with a wave of criticism after demanding her fiance buy her a new engagement ring.
Unhappy with fiance Brad’s initial offering, the 18-year-old beauty sent fans into a social media frenzy by requesting her dream ring instead, with one labelling her a ‘materialistic little b****’.
‘It’s not about the ring!!! But the commitment!! Lorddd (sic) if only you could slap someone through the telly Courtney,’ wrote another viewer.
Succumbing to his bride-to-be’s whims, Brad went and got a new $11,500 custom ring, saying, ‘Courtney just wants something big and expensive really, and branded.’
But that wasn’t enough to satiate Courtney, who was furious when the new bling wasn’t ready for their engagement party.
‘It’s embarrassing, he doesn’t get it, he’s not a girl, he’s not the one that everyone is going, “Oh where’s your engagement ring?”‘she said.
As for the fate of their marriage, Brad’s mum Sherrie is convinced it won’t last.
‘They’re still having arguments, toxic arguments, it’s still happening, it’s not mature,’ Sherrie said.
‘Marriage isn’t going to change their situation, they are too young to get married, simple.’
