“I am more than upset, I’m broken. I am absolutely broken,” Mary-Ann said, following the heated exchange that sent the posh mum walking off into the night.
The argument began when Mary-Ann refused to open up about her discomfort.
“You need to start opening up and being vulnerable to me or least be able to answer simple questions,” Tori told her mother over dinner.
The 28-year-old said she had been open and vulnerable with her mother but was yet to receive the same effort in return.
“Do you ever want to get to a place where your own daughter can sit down and trust you and talk to you one-on-one?” Tori asked Mary-Ann.
“Can we kill this right now? Because this about James and I,” Mary-Anne responded.
James, Tori’s boyfriend demanded that Mary-Ann hug Tori and tell her she loved her. The 34-year-old also warned her not to come to the wedding if she refused.
When Mary-Ann didn’t budge, James stormed off, claiming that she wasn’t a proper parent.
However, before he could even make it out of the houseboat, an offended Mary-Ann was already done with the conversation.
“I’m not going to be spoken to like that,” Mary-Anne fumed as she walked out.
“I am more than upset, I’m broken. I am absolutely broken,” she sobbed to a producer moments later.
When the producer asked Mary-Ann what she wanted to do, she said “I’m done,” before appearing to remove her microphone.
The devasted mother then walked off into the night.
Whether or not she returns to the series and reconciles with Tori and James remains to be seen.
