But New Idea can exclusively reveal that the 35-year-old has been secretly sending explicit messages to a woman 13 years his junior – just months after begging the mother of his two children to remarry him.
Meeting the young woman through Snapchat last month, the conversation quickly turned X-rated, with Brendan – who recently declared his love for Alex on national TV – requesting nude images, describing her as ‘f****** sexy’ and adding ‘the things I would do to that body’.
But his doting partner was not far from his mind, with the AFL player admitting he has a fiancee – before discussing the possibility of meeting in person.
