Hold onto your roses, we could have a new contender for The Bachelorette Australia 2017.
According to the Daily Telegraph, former Miss Universe Australia Tegan Martin is in talks with producers to star in the series.
The 24-year-old recently appeared on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, so she’s up for reality TV at the very least.
While the announcement that she was in the running sent fans into a frenzy, her rep was quick to squash those rumours.
Her representative Benji Hart denies such possibility stating she is “still very much in love” with her current rugby player boyfriend Sam Croke and “would not be appearing” on the show.
Well there you go.
A Network Ten Spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia: “Australia’s next Bachelorette has not yet been chosen, and casting is currently underway. We look forward to announcing her identity to the public later this year.”
So you’re in luck, ladies, you still have time to score a spot as the rose-wielding Bachelorette.
