After more than 10 years in Indonesia, Schapelle Corby will move home to Australia.
According to the convicted drug smuggler’s sister Mercedes, the 39-year-old is set to return to the Gold Coast ‘before August’ next year where she will most likely spend time at her tapas bar business.
‘She will come and sit here and drink beer, probably,’ Mercedes told News Corp.
‘We’ll wait to see what happens.
‘For now it’s just nice to wait and see what happens when it gets closer to her coming home.’
Schapelle was released from a Bali prison in 2014 but was forced to remain in Indonesia as part of her parole conditions. Previously, she spent nine years in a Bali prison after being found guilty of bringing 4.2 kilograms of cannabis into the country in a body board case.
