Trouble-plagued pilot and occasional actor Harrison Ford, 74, is officially under investigation after his light plane was involved in a terrifying near-miss with a loaded passenger jet.
The star – who almost died in an horrific crash in 2015 – was piloting his plane in Orange County, California, when the ‘potentially serious’ incident occurred. Reports say he attempted to land on a taxiway instead of a runway at John Wayne Airport – a potentially deadly error – despite being given clear instructions from the tower.
The star’s plane allegedly passed over an American Airlines 737 with 110 passengers and six crew aboard.
Recordings from the air traffic control tower reportedly captured the actor asking, ‘was that airliner meant to be underneath me?’
The star crashed his vintage plane on a golf course in 2015 – enduring a broken arm and head injuries.
