The wait is finally over, after weeks of flirting, tears, backstabbing and countless roses, The Bachelor winner has at last been revealed as…drum roll please…Alex Nation!
After a gripping finale, Richie let rival Nikki Gogan down by saying the words, “My heart is with Alex” and watching her heart break.
Just like last year’s Bachelor, Sam Wood, Richie made the decision to give his final rose to a contestant with a child from a previous relationship – making him an instant dad!
Right from the start, the single mum of Elijah, five, wasn’t shy about making her feelings known to Richie (who could forget those epic meltdowns).
But it seems to have done the trick as the 24-year-old was the winner of the final rose…and Richie’s heart.
Despite being an underdog with fans, the restaurant manager became a frontrunner in the first episode after receiving the only white rose of the competition which meant she could spend more time with Richie.
Now, as we wave them off into the sunset, only one question remains…will they be making chocolate baths a weekly ritual!
