According to PEOPLE, Antonio Banderas was hospitalised in the U.K. on January 19 after suffering chest pains.
The 56-year-old actor was rushed to St. Peter’s Hospital in Surrey, outside of London, earlier this month and released, a hospital spokesperson tells the news site.
Benderas’ rep said: “We can confirm that last Thursday Antonio was admitted to hospital after having experienced chest pain while exercising. However, Antonio was released that same day after doctors performed a check-up which confirmed his good health.”
While the Spanish actor hasn’t made any formal announcement about his hospital stay, he did take to Instagram on January 30 to share a snap alongside his girlfriend Nicole Kimpe.
“Enjoying nature after a little fright. Enjoying nature after a startle. Kisses,” he captioned the snap.
