Jodi was recently encouraged by producers to take a three-week break from filming the show, due to ‘exhaustion’. The rescheduling is believed to have caused a mini meltdown in the Neighbours offices as staff try to juggle filming commitments in the wake of thew change.
This follows reports that she was allegedly turning up late on set and forgetting her lines.
Braith, who looks after the couple’s daughter Aleeia in Sydney while Jodi works in Melbourne, doesn’t exactly sound sympathetic.
‘It’s up to her to look after herself,’ he told the Daily Telegraph’s Confidential column.
‘I look after Aleeia and whatever Jodi’s got to do she’s got to do. I’ve got my own family to worry about. As long as Aleeia is taken care of that’s all that matters.’
Jodi’s manager, Sean Anderson denied claims of lateness or problems with lines when questioned on the matter by the Herald Sun.
‘She’s just having a rest. She’s exhausted so she’s taking three weeks off.
‘She’s living between two cities, she’s also a single mum and there are challenges that come with it.’
