Brad Pitt has fallen back in love with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston following the collapse of his marriage to Angelina Jolie, a shock new US report is claiming.
The Allied actor, 53, is said to have recently made contact with Jennifer, 48, to apologise for the circumstances that led to their divorce in 2005 following five years of marriage.
According to In Touch magazine, their conversations have re-awakened his true feelings for Jennifer, despite the fact she’s now married to actor Justin Theroux.
An insider sensationally claimed that during a recent phone call, “Brad unburdened himself over all the hurt he caused her. He came across as genuinely sorry, and Jen was deeply touched. She cried happy tears after his grand mea culpa and told him she wanted to come through the phone and hug him right there.”
Pitt recently admitted he has quit alcohol, following years of boozing that left his personal life in tatters.
The publication’s source went on to allege, “Brad is openly questioning if he would have left Jen for Angie if he hadn’t been so dependent on alcohol and drugs back then.
“Brad has realised with clarify that leaving Jen the way he did and getting romantically involved with Angie was a result of living in a haze.”
Now, the insider added, “Brad is sober, making amends and in love with Jen again.”
