Investigative journalist and filmmaker Ian Halperin plans to make a documentary about the breakdown of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s marriage.
He’s made explosive claims about the pair, including Ange’s regret at publicly announcing the split.
“The bottom line is that they both wanted out of this relationship for a long time,” he tells OK! Magazine.
“Angelina was never going to go away quietly, but the decision to take this public may well be the biggest mistake she ever made.”
Halperin claims the couple split in 2015 and that Pitt initially wanted to be the first to go public with their break-up.
“Angelina became terrified Brad would go public,” Ian said.
“In the two months leading up to her decision to file for divorce, he had threatened to publicly dissolve the relationship six times. She was afraid and she wanted to beat him to the public.”
Pitt and Jolie announced they were ending their marriage last September. The pair share six children, three adopted and three biological.
