Before Blake Garvey became Australia’s most hated Bachelor, he was a real estate agent in Western Australia. And while he’s still in the business, it seems Garvey is trying to forget his reality TV past.
In an attempt to disappear from the spotlight, Garvey recently deleted his social media accounts. Despite this, it’s his professional profile for LJ Hooker on Domain that has people talking.
Garvey famously dumped Sam Frost after proposing to her in season two of The Bachelor. He then proceeded to date his third choice, Louise Pillidge, before they broke up in April this year.
Failing to mention his time on The Bachelor, or his stint as a topless waiter in his real estate profile, Garvey instead tells people they will be ‘struck by his height and his deep baritone voice.’
While Sam Frost might say otherwise, Garvey claims he has ‘exceptional communication skills’.
‘Communication has underpinned everything I’ve done, from radio announcing and commercial voiceovers, to Master of Ceremonies and theatre to lecturing and training.’
Speaking to Mia Freedman on No Filter, Frost said she met with Blake, the producer and the publicist the day after the finale was filmed.
‘It was with the Executive Producer of the show and the publicist… I think he had thought he’d made it very clear, but he hadn’t,’ she said.
‘Our publicist literally said – “What are you trying to say? Are you breaking up with Sam? What is going on?” And then they looked at me and said “Sam – what is going on?” And I go – “I dunno, don’t look at me. I’m not the one talking.”‘
