The Kardashian family are reportedly “at war” with enemy number one, or Blac Chyna as her friends and family call her.
Earlier this year, Blac submitted paperwork to trademark the name “Angela Renee Kardashian,” so that she can use the family name for business purposes once married to Rob.
The sisters’ companies have opposed this request, according to documents obtained by TMZ. The sisters reportedly stated in the documents that if Chyna gets the trademark, they’ll “suffer damage including irreparable injury to their reputation and goodwill.”
The documents also claim that Blac is “deliberately seeking to profit” from the Kardashian name.
“Everything has been fantastic between her and the family to the best of my knowledge, so this is a shock,” Chyna’s lawyer Walter Mosley told People. “Thus, I’m under the belief that it’s a misunderstanding … Angela, Rob and Dream are doing amazing, wonderful and things couldn’t be better.”
He added: “I’m just going to proceed as I normally would with a lawsuit. I have 40 days to respond.”
Maybe she can’t trademark the name, but when she marries into the family, she can legally change her surname.
The Kardashian-Jenner clan became even more complicated when Blac Chyna and Tyga, Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend, entered their lives a few years ago.
Blac Chyna and Tyga were engaged with a son, and were best friends with Kim and Kanye. When they broke up, Tyga started dating Kylie Jenner.
A few years later Blac and Rob got together, she got pregnant and now they are engaged with a daughter named Dream.
