It’s hard to believe it’s been almost 10 years since Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin died. Now, in a tribute to her beloved late father, Bindi Irwin plans to commemorate the anniversary by tying the knot with boyfriend Chandler Powell.
According to a source close to the couple of two years, Chandler a 19-year-old professional wakeboarder from Florida – popped the question to Bindi in Australia recently, with plans to marry the Dancing With The Stars champion soon after her 18th birthday later this month.
And Bindi couldn’t be happier!
With the 10th anniversary of her beloved father’s death – September 4 – just six weeks after her milestone birthday, friends say Bindi hopes to ‘turn the saddest day in her life to what she knows will become the happiest’ – with a wedding!
