When former The Biggest Loser contestant Alison Braun announced she’d successfully had her banned breast implants removed – posting a smiling selfie from her hospital bed on Instagram – fans breathed a collective sigh of relief for her.
But New Idea can now reveal the much-loved reality TV star didn’t emerge from her ordeal completely unscathed.
Worryingly, by the time Alison got to the operating table, her left implant had already started to decay.
‘It had ruptured by the time I got to surgery,’ she laments. ‘I was very angry at myself because I had left it so long, out of the fear of going under the anaesthetic, that I might have potentially placed myself in an even worse position.
