Big Bang Theory star Mayim Bailik is taking a vow of silence.
The actress took to Instagram on Wednesday to reveal that she’s been banned from talking for a month due to an injury to her vocal chords.

In a short video clip, the 41-year-old broke the news to her fans via her young son.
“This is my son, Miles, talking,” the 11-year-old said, reading from a script prepared by his mum.

Bialik, who plays Amy Farrah Fowler on the hit show, also posted a snap of herself at the doctor’s office on Twitter.
