In case you missed it, Aussie golden girl Sophie Monk dated rocker, Benji Madden back in 2006 and the pair even got engaged.
But, it seems that there was no love lost between these former flames.
Despite splitting almost, a decade ago, Benji clearly isn’t ready to talk about his ex.
Benji and his band, Good Charlotte performed at Foxtel’s V Island Party in Sydney last night and during a Q and A with the audience, Benji appeared to diss his famous ex.
One eager fan asked which of the brothers dated Sophie. And, an onlooker tells New Idea that both the brothers looked uncomfortable.
‘They clearly didn’t want to talk about Sophie,’ they say. ‘It was kind of awkward that he didn’t even acknowledge her.’
Refusing to talk about his former fiancé, Benji quickly responded, ‘Next question.’ Ouch!
What’s more, Sophie Monk previously revealed that she had a super awkward run in with her ex back in 2014.
‘I saw him actually but he wasn’t warm [or] welcoming [as] I was,’ she told Kyle and Jackie O. ‘I gave him a hug, but no arms came out, it was the worst! It was so embarrassing.’
Benji has since gone one to marry actress Cameron Diaz, while Sophie Monk went on to star on The Bachelorette.
