Fallen AFL star Ben Cousins admits he’s lost his entire fortune thanks to a decade-long battle with drugs.
The 38-year-old father confessed he was having ‘a bit of a tough time’ and has been living out of a backpack and sleeping on friend’s couches
Sitting alone outside a Perth police station – at a loss as who he should call to come and collect him following a two-day stint in custody – the Brownlow Medalist spoke to the Daily Telegraph.
Ben was fined $600 and detained for two days after breaching a domestic violence order against his ex-partner Maylea Tinecheff.
‘It’s hard to know where to go to. I am living out of a backpack at the moment,’ he said.
‘I move between three mate’s houses, spend time on different couches. There’s a lady I knock around with these days who I stay with, otherwise I just move on to another place.’
Ben previously admitted he expected to spend Christmas in jail and that the worst part of his life is not being about to see his son Bobby.
