Ben Affleck has made a bizarre appearance on a U.S. talk show.
The 43-year-old slurred his way through an appearance on Bill Simmons’ talk show Any Given Wednesday, when discussing the lengthy NFL saga that is Deflategate.
The Batman v Superman star dropped F-bomb after F-bomb whilst defending NFL star Tom Brady, who is married to supermodel Gisele Bündchen.
‘Deflategate is the ultimate bullsht f**ing outrage, of sports ever. It’s so f*ing stupid,’ he began in the the five-minute foul-mouthed rant.
Affleck added: “Maybe Tom Brady is so f***ing classy, and is such a f***ing gentleman, that he doesn’t want people to know that he may have reflected on his real opinion of some of his co-workers.”
Social media went into complete meltdown following his appearance.
The actor took to Twitter to defend his ‘impassioned speech’.
‘For those of you keeping score at home, I gave exactly 18 f*cks about my Pats. Upon reflection, 12 probably would have been sufficient,’ he tweeted.
‘We Boston fans have always been known for our subtlety. One of my favorite interviews; hope you get to see the entire episode. #GoPats.’
The shows host all defended his appearance.
‘BTW – we taped AGW in the late-AM, Ben got fired up about DeflateGate during the convo, that’s it.’ he tweeted
