When we heard of the divorce between Ben and Jen we mourned the loss of what seemed to be one of the cutest and most normal relationships in Hollywood. So, you can imagine how ELATED we are that Ben Affleck and Jen Garner’s people suggested ‘things change.’
According to US Weekly, the divorce may very well be history. ‘Jen mentioned that the divorce was going through very soon, and then a few weeks ago, things changed,’ says a friend of Garner. ‘It does not seem to be moving in that direction.’
Ben and Jen are currently living in their $17.5 million mansion, however they’re technically living in separate rooms.
Only earlier this year Jen told Vanity Fair that she sleeps with their oldest daughter, Violet, while Ben still doses off in the guest room. ‘Jen seems to still be in love with Ben but doesn’t allow her mind to go there,’ says the Garner pal. ‘She just focuses on the kids.’
An Affleck source has told US Weekly however that there was never a plan to rush the divorce and ‘This was always the plan.’
Could they just be playing happy families by getting the kids adjusted to new surroundings? Sounds a lot like they’re holding onto something… We hope it’s true!
