Before she was the wife of Aussie tennis star Lleyton Hewitt, Bec was the golden girl of summer Bay.
The 33-year-old starred as Hayley Smith on Home And Away for seven years, a role which garnered her numerous Logie nominations.
However, 11 years on from her departure from the Channel Seven drama, Bec revealed to KIIS 106.5FM’s Kyle & Jackie O that she’d never been invited to reprise her role in the way the likes of Stephen Peacocke and Dan Ewing have.
‘I haven’t been asked,’ she said.
‘Kate Ritchie’s such a dear friend of mine, and so many of the crew members I still keep in touch with,’ she said of her former co-star, who played Sally Fletcher on the soap for 20 years.
Bec suggested that perhaps she hasn’t been invited to re-appear on the long-running show due to her living in the Bahamas with Lleyton and their three children, Mia, 10, Cruz, seven, and Ava, six.
‘I think they know I just haven’t been living here, so I haven’t in the one place to commit to anything,’ she explained.
