Former NRL star and The Footsy Show host Beau Ryan has made a dying girl happy after rushing to her hospital bed.
Kia Lettice, 22, suffers from ovarian cancer and was in hospital when her friend sent a Facebook plea saying she had only hours to live.
Mahalia Murphy wrote of how her friend was fighting cancer but was keen to meet Greg Inglis or Beau Ryan. She asked for people to share the message and somehow it made its way to Beau who quickly posted that her was on his way. ‘Tell her to stay strong,’ he wrote.
Kia was apparently delighted to meet the man she has dubbed “her future husband” with her friend writing. ‘Thanks to everyone for making this special moment happen. Beau Ryan you are a true legend man. Can’t thank you enough for this moment.’
Friends say they are now hoping Kia will continue to fight in the hope of meeting Greg Inglis.
