Sitting down with AFL great Barry Hall and former Hi-5 star Lauren Brant, it’s impossible not to feel swept up by their love.
The unlikely couple finish each other’s sentences, grinning from ear to ear, as 39-year-old Barry places his arm gently but protectively around Lauren, who is 18 weeks pregnant with their first child.
It’s a side to the tough former Sydney Swans star that has never been seen before, and there’s no doubt about it, this is true love.
‘We fell madly in love and it happened really quite quickly,’ Lauren 27, tells New Idea, smiling at Barry.
