She’s the woman set to pursue a long-lasting relationship on the forthcoming season of The Bachelorette – but it appears the bubbly TV presenter isn’t as unlucky in love as she’s making out.
New Idea can exclusively reveal the Hobart-based brunette was in a relationship with police detective Nick Grubb, from Hobart, when producers asked her to apply for the dating show just last month.
Sources reveal that the pair grew increasingly close over the past few months, with Georgia, 27, telling friends that the hunky cop was ‘The One’.
Georgia then decided the opportunity to front the new series was too good to pass up, and ended things with Nick.
‘He is absolutely heartbroken,’ confirms a mate.
