Attendees at Sydney’s Coogee Pavilion were taken aback on Sunday, when a tense scene between former Bachelor contestant Zoe O’Brien and serial dater Michael Turnbull escalated into an awkward exchange of words, apparently over their mutual romantic disappointment.
‘She was saying how disappointed she was in the way he’d treated her, and he kept apologising,’ reports one witness. ‘She said she “really liked him until he told her to shush the next morning”.’
Michael attempted to placate the beauty with repeated apologies, say onlookers, even telling her, ‘Clearly I have some thinking to do about my actions’.
Noticing they were drawing a lot of attention, the pair then disappeared to a secluded spot together.
