It’s been revealed that Bachelor Richie Strahan and runner-up Nikki Gogan shared an intimate relationship long before the show started – and made a pact to profess love in the final rose ceremony.
‘They had so much in common and a mutual attraction way before the show,’ a friend confirms. ‘That’s the whole reason Nikki applied – so they could be together.
‘They are both ambitious to push their public profiles. Nikki thought this would be a great opportunity for them to get to know each other better, fall in love and become a household name at the same time.’
But the Perth beauty’s plan spectacularly backfired when Richie fell for Alex – dumping fan favourite Nikki on national TV in the season finale.
