Bachelorette fan favourite Matty J has been given a second chance to find love as the upcoming star of the 2017 season of The Bachelor.
But while the handsome 30-year-old marketing director may be publicly expressing his joy, behind closed doors, the hunk is dealing with the prospect of leaving his one true love behind: his adorable nephew George.
Alongside the mandatory shirtless beach snaps, Bondi-based Matty has been peppering his Instagram account with sweet pictures of him bonding with his sister Kate’s one-year-old son. ‘Took the little rooster out for his first surf today,’ he captioned an adorable photo of George riding his first wave.
Matty was left heartbroken after Georgia famously dumped him for Melbourne model and plumber Lee Elliott in the season finale of last season’s show.
With filming already underway, the part-time model was recently snapped alongside show producers holding his luggage as he was transferred to a mystery location.
Matty wrote on Instagram: ‘I never could have imagined I’d be given this opportunity. I’m beyond excited to start this incredible adventure and to find the special girl I’ve been waiting for.’
