After last nights episode of The Bachelor Australia aired, eliminated contestant Tara Pavlovic has claimed that her feelings for Matthew ‘Matty J’ Johnson were ‘never that serious.’
The 27-year-old nanny didn’t hold back when talking to TV Week today, ‘I really couldn’t give a s*** about Matty!’
The blonde beauty didn’t receive a coveted rose on Wednesday night, leaving rivals Elise Stacy and Laura Byrne competing in the finale for marketing exec heartthrob Matty J.
Tara spoke out publicly before the rose ceremony last night, ‘I really want to be the last girl standing. I’m not ready to say goodbye to Matty.’
However, she was quick to change her tune after the episode aired, ‘I was never in love with him, so I was fine when I didn’t get a rose. Actually, he looked more upset than me!’
Claiming she was completely over their fleeting romance, Tara continued: ‘I was fine as soon as I left. I went to Maccas drive through on the way home and got a chicken and cheese burger, called my friends… It was absolutely fine, I didn’t struggle at all.’
Fans have since flooded social media following her dumping in outrage, suggesting she deserves to become the new Bachelorette.
Tara said the experience has deterred her from taking on the role anytime soon, ‘I mean, let’s be honest, I’m not going to struggle finding a man in real life,’ she said.
