In a rare public declaration of love, Arnold Schwarzenegger shared a warm birthday message for lookalike lovechild Joseph Baena who just turned 19.
The action movie star, a regular at Oktoberfest, shared a picture on Instagram of the two enjoying a beer along with the moving caption, ‘Happy birthday, Joseph. Great student, great athlete. I’m proud of you and I love you!’
This comes after the 69-year-old only recently opened up to Howard Stern last year about his relationship with Joseph’s mother, Mildred Baena. Mildred served as the Schwarzenegger’s housekeeper during Arnold’s marriage to Maria Shriver when the two struck up an affair.
Arnold described his son’s reaction to the situation as admirable.
‘He’s terrific and he totally understands the situation,’ the former California governor told Howard. ‘It has all worked out. It’s a very tough situation for him. It’s a very tough situation for my kids, very tough situation for my family. It was tough for everybody. But it has happened and now we have to figure it out, right?’
Arnold’s girlfriend of four years, Heather Milligan was along for the trip to Germany.
