The 29-year-old from the Sunshine Coast is set to start filming The Bachelorette in just a matter of weeks and has signed on the dotted line to follow in the footsteps of other The Bachelorette alumni Ali Oetjen and Sophie Monk and search for love on national TV.
Angie is no stranger to the world of reality TV. She shot to fame on Gogglebox with partner in crime Yvie Jones, and then more recently was in the final five of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.
Since she returned from South Africa – where I’m a Celebrity was filmed – earlier this year, Angie has been enjoying time off with her family and friends, but now she’s ready to go back on TV in her search for love.
Angie shot to fame in Googlebox with her best friend Yvie Jones and became famous for her epic one-liners.
Close friends of Angie say she took some persuading to appear on another reality show but now she’s ready for a fresh challenge in her life.
A close family member revealed that Angie is hopeful about finding love on the TV show, but she’s not desperate for a man in her life. “She’s a really simple girl who loves living near the beach,’ he said. “She loves her family and loves her dogs. If she finds a man who hates dogs – he’d be out straight away.”
