Angelina Jolie is planning to have a surrogate baby with her British billionaire lover, US publication Star is reporting today.
The 41-year-old has been seeing the well-to-do, Oxford-educated philanthropist since 2016, and she’s in love, according to the magazine.
“Angie likes the idea of becoming a mum again,” Star’s source says. “But after her marriage [to Brad Pitt] imploded, she didn’t know if she’d ever find someone with whom she’d want to have another child. But Angie is serious about this guy.”
Angelina had her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed in 2015 but had her eggs frozen beforehand, so hiring a surrogate seems to be the perfect way to go.
Now things are falling into place.
Her beau, who’s in his mid-50s and of Middle Eastern descent, is in the midst of divorcing his wife, and Angelina and Brad are in a better place following their split.
“It’s understandable if Angie’s gun-shy about tying the knot again,” reveals the source. “Still, she obviously has a very intense and close connection with this man, and now they’re taking this huge step together.”
