Angelina Jolie is planning to tell her side of the story in a new tell-all memoir, according to US magazine Star.
The 41-year-old mum-of-six had remained fairly quiet since that infamous plane flight in September, when Brad allegedly got into a fight with son Maddox, however sources say she’s ready to give her version of events in a new book.
“The past eight months have been the toughest time of her life, but Angie’s finally feeling strong enough to talk about her ordeal,” an insider told Star. “She’s started telling friends about how things fell apart and she’s finding it cathartic. I hear she may even be in the process of writing a tell-all, which could fetch as much as USD$20m. The revelations would be absolutely explosive!”
The most anticipated disclosure will no doubt be the truth about what happened on that September 14 plane journey, which resulted in Angie filing divorce papers and a formal FBI investigation into the safety of their children.
Sources tell Star that Angie had already made her mind up to leave Brad before the incident, in which Brad allegedly sprayed a bottle of wine all over the plane, while shouting at her to not tell him what to do. The tantrum woke Maddox, who “rushed forward to protect Angie and slapped Brad, who slapped him right back”.
The magazine’s source says, “Angie had seen a divorce lawyer in July to draft the paperwork – she was just waiting for an incident to pull the trigger, and it happened. After that, there was no way she was going to subject her children to a volatile situation that had become toxic and possibly dangerous.”
