In news that shouldn’t really surprise anyone, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s children are in therapy.
A source close to the couple told PEOPLE, ‘It’s been a traumatic situation.’
Despite Jolie filing for divorce two weeks ago, an insider told New Idea, the kids — Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, and Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne — have ‘been incredibly unhappy for some time.’
Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt two weeks ago, and is ‘staying strong for her kids’.
‘As glamorous as their lifestyle may seem, things can get pretty intense and stressful and it’s been that way for most of their lives.’
Meanwhile, a Pitt source tells PEOPLE the actor ‘has been absolutely devastated and heartbroken by the events of the past several weeks, both in terms of how those events have been wrongfully portrayed and how they have threatened to jeopardize his family’s ability to heal and move forward.’
