Angelina Jolie recently confessed that her transition back into acting following her divorce from ex-husband Brad Pitt had been a particularly “rough time”.

And now, the 44-year-old has revealed her wish to relocate overseas was quashed by her former hubby, who apparently refused to allow his kids move abroad.
Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar, the American actress admitted that she would love to relocate to another country, but her current situation with Brad means the idea is out of the question.
“I would love to live abroad and will do so as soon as my children are 18. Right now I’m having to base where their father chooses to live,” Angelina confessed.
When asked about some of her favourite places in the world, the actress said she enjoys “being out of her element” and prefers travelling to places where she has never been before.
“I want the children to grow up in the world – not just learning about it but living it and having friends around the world,” she said.
The 44-year-old, who split with her ex in 2016, went on to say the transition had also been difficult for her children.
“They have been through a lot. I learn from their strength,” she said.
In addition to her and Brad’s three biological children: Shiloh, Vivienne and Knox, they have also raised three adopted children: Maddox, Pax and Zahara.
Angelina’s candid confession comes after she spoke about returning to acting to reprise her role in Maleficent, in the wake of her split from Brad.
“I’d been coming off a few years of difficulty, and I was not feeling very strong. In fact, I was feeling pretty broken,” the 44-year-old told People.
“It took me a moment to feel the strength of [Maleficent] again.”
