Brad Pitt has been ambushed by his ‘hateful, evil’ estranged wife Angelina Jolie in a bitter smear campaign, says one of his closest friends.
Amid reports that Ange’s camp has leaked information to media outlets that paints Brad as a violent and drug- addled threat, his supporters are defending him from what they claim is a campaign to take away his child custody rights.
‘Angelina ambushed him. She probably went to a lawyer and asked what did she need to do to get physical custody of the kids and was told to provoke him,’ says a long-time friend Cheryl Holton.
‘She had a house already rented. She put this whole scenario together quite awhile ago. What a snake.’
The drama came after the publication of photos in the US that American publications allege prove it’s Ange who has the violent temper – despite Brad claiming he tripped on the stairs.
